A Little Background
It all started in the fall of 2008 when two friends and fellow carpoolers were stuck on the congested roads of Chicago. With ample time to plot and plan during their daily car rides the two hashed out the unique idea of launching an online store dedicated to selling the finest ugly sweaters in the nation. Their love of laughter, shopping and parties was a perfect match for the Ugly Sweater Store.

Clarissa Trujillo, Co-Founder
As a native Midwesterner, Clarissa appreciates the comfort of a warm sweater and the added entertainment value of ugly sweaters. In 2007, her hunky husband was determined to win the office ugly sweater party but they could hardly find a suitable sweater in all of the Chicago. That near career-ending experience provoked her to help launch the Ugly Sweater Store.
Jenny Keeney, Co-Founder
Jenny is a small-town girl from Iowa (a.k.a. the birthplace of ugly sweaters), but contrary to the geographic stereotype, she did not grow potatoes, live on a farm, or drive a tractor to school. As inspiration leader for the Ugly Sweater Store, Jenny uses her bad taste to pick the ugliest sweaters and her love for a good party as motivation.
Cassie Carson, Webmaster
Cassie also hails from Iowa, but currently resides in Billings (It's in Montana). She is the webmaster ying to Jenny and Clarissa's creative genius yang. Like what you see? Have a problem with the site? Let her know.
